Aphrodi

Aphrodi is a design agency: visual identity, web design, print and merchandise, social media, graphics and illustration, video editing, 3D models and copywriting. Its website and client panel have to give the team a picture of what is going on without logging into more tools, and give clients billing and notifications without waiting for a message from their account manager.

Around the website and the panel we built a set of integrations that ties them to the team's Discord, Stripe and the client's browser.

The contact form, newsletter sign-ups, visits from referral links and analytics events land in separate team channels on Discord. Each kind of event has its own channel, so a client's enquiry never gets lost among the statistics.

All of this goes out through webhook-proxy with a key and a sender name, so Discord limits and momentary errors never lose an event.

A bot on the team's Discord answers commands with data from the website's analytics, for the period given in the command.

The bot posts a daily report on its own, and when total page views or sessions cross another milestone, it announces that in a channel. A separate referral watcher lets the team know when someone new arrives through one of the links.

The Aphrodi website speaks seven languages: Polish, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian. The content of every page and every blog post is also available as clean JSON, without layout or scripts, in each of those languages. An AI assistant reads the offer and the articles as they were written, instead of guessing them from the page code.

The Aphrodi client panel settles payments through Stripe and notifies clients by Web Push in the browser and by email, following the categories and channels they choose. Panel events go to the team channel, and uncaught errors to a reports channel, without personal data and without flooding the channel with the same error.
