Industry solutions: from hotels to game servers

Every industry has a few problems that come back in every business. Here we go through them one by one, with the services and integrations that solve them and the projects already running.

Our work
A hotel website with date picking and rooms
A game server website with a ranking and a store
A municipality website with matters to settle
A store panel with orders from every channel

Four groups of industries

Industries are grouped by how the business earns: from bookings, from an audience, from sales or from public duties. Next to each industry, the problem its owners come with.

How data moves in each group

In every group one path repeats across all its industries. Each step names the service or integration that handles it, and the highlighted step is where the data meets.

Hospitality and travel
The guest journey we build in each of these industries
Group page
GuestSearches by nameLands on your website from Google, not only on a portal. A guest who already knows the name of the guesthouse, hotel or venue arrives on your own domain, on the page of a specific cottage or room with a calendar, a nightly price and a deposit. For that page to show up in search results, every room or cottage has its own address, and images and code stay light on a phone. A booking that starts here carries no portal commission, and the only cost is the payment operator's fee.Technical SEO and speed
WebsiteOffer and availabilityRooms, menus, tours or the fleet with free dates. Guests see only what is really free: start times with the number of free kayaks at a rental, free nights at a guesthouse, free places next to each departure at a travel agency. The price, the deposit and the free cancellation deadline sit right there, before the guest moves to payment. The calendar counts free units, not just free hours, so nobody answers emails asking whether there is still room.
PaymentBooking with a depositA deposit or prepayment through a payment operator. The screen splits the amount into what the guest pays now and what is left for later, with the date of the balance, and the system reminds them of it by email and SMS on its own. The guest pays by BLIK or another of the operator's methods, and the payment status is saved on the booking, with no bank statements to check. The form names the payment the same way the terms do, because a deposit, an advance and a prepayment have different consequences when someone cancels.Online payments
PanelStaff see it at onceThe booking lands in Atrium, Lokal or a custom panel. At a property without reception it arrives as a notification on the owner's phone, with the dates, the number of guests and whether the deposit is paid. The same dates close on the portals through a channel manager or an iCal calendar, and in the morning a plan for the day lists the arrivals and the amount to collect on site. Nobody copies bookings from an email into a notebook or a spreadsheet.
After the visitReturnConfirmations, reminders and offers for regulars. After booking the guest gets a confirmation, and before the date a reminder by SMS or email, sent from the booking data. At a cafe the return is a regular's card on the phone: the barista scans the code, the stamp lands on the card and the guest sees how many are left to the reward. Contact with the guest after the visit stays with you, with their consent, and not in a portal's inbox.
