Pricing: how we quote websites, stores, apps and integrations

Every project is quoted individually. Here is what a quote is made of, what raises and lowers the cost and the path from a message to a quote. We give the figure for your project after a short call. The quote is free and comes back within an hour.

Working with us
A quote for a company website with a blog in the client panel: payment stages, the validity, the items and the team's notes

What we quote

We quote each of these services individually, for the scope you describe.

Integrations with specific systems are quoted under API and integrations.

What a quote is made of

Everything below adds up to the figure, and we calculate each part for your project. Each one says what it covers and how it affects the price.

What we build

  • Scope and featuresThe screens, pages, features and user roles we write into the quote.Weighs the most: every unique view has to be designed, built and tested, and a system with roles for several departments is more work than a panel for one person.
  • Visual design and UXWireframes, the look of the screens and a design system. A design from scratch we do with our partner, Aphrodi.A finished design we build without designing again, and a design from scratch is quoted by its scope.
  • ContentThe copy, photos, product descriptions and other materials that go into the project.Ready copy and photos shorten the work. You deliver them in the agreed time, because the date depends on them (cl. 4.2 of our terms).
  • IntegrationsConnections to payments, KSeF, couriers, marketplaces or the API of a system you already use. Each is separate work with tests and error handling. Where a ready add-on is enough, the cost is lower.

Extra requirements

  • Several languagesMore language versions of the site or the app. Each language means translation, its own addresses and SEO settings for every page. One language to start lowers the cost of the first stage.
  • AccessibilityWCAG 2.2 compliance: keyboard use, screen readers, contrast, forms and error messages. It adds work to the design, the code and the tests, so it is worth mentioning in your request.
  • Security and personal dataSign-in, permissions and processing personal data in line with the GDPR.The more sensitive the data and the more roles with different access, the more safeguards and tests in the quote.
  • Data migrationMoving content, products, accounts and addresses from the old site, store or system. The cost depends on how much data there is and how far the old structure differs from the new one.

Project terms

  • DeadlineWhen the project should start and when it should be ready. The date we give in the quote does not change the price. A very short deadline changes how we work and may raise it, and we say so straight away.
  • BudgetThe amount you want to spend on the project. When we know it, we can suggest a smaller scope to start and the rest in later stages.
  • Project circumstancesWork on existing code, taking over a project from another vendor, or working with your team and other providers.A takeover starts with a code review and a quote for what is left, so the cost depends on the state of the project.
  • Third-party servicesFees for AI models, a payment gateway and similar outside services. You pay them at the provider's prices, outside the project price. The quote covers connecting them when that is in scope.

Launch and care

  • Testing and acceptanceChecks on phones and desktops, integration tests and accepting each stage on the test version. There are more tests with more screens and integrations. The test version is in the price from the first day of work.
  • Release and hostingPutting the project live and the documentation: how to set it up from scratch, its architecture and how it is deployed. The release and documentation are in the project price. Hosting with monitoring is quoted separately, by traffic and scale.
  • Maintenance and monitoringUpdates, development after launch and monitoring packages that keep an eye on whether everything works.Quoted separately, under a separate agreement (cl. 7.3 of our terms), by the number of services and changes.
  • WarrantyFixes for bugs from our work after final acceptance, at no extra cost. The standard is 90 days in the project price. Very small orders can have 30 days and bigger ones 180 or 365, written into the order.
Your quoteA figure for the written scope, a date, the payment stages and a list of what it covers and what it does not. The quote is free and commits you to nothing.

How a quote is made

From a message to a price, a date and a list of what you get.

  1. You getOur first questions

    Describe the project

You tell us what you want to build and for whom. A few sentences are enough; no specification needed.

  2. You getA written scope

    Questions and a call

We ask about whatever changes the price, and for a bigger project we set up a 30 to 60 minute call.

  3. You getA quote to accept

    A quote with the scope

You get a price, a list of what it covers, the stages and a date.

  4. You getAn order with payment stages

    The order

Once accepted, we write the scope into the order. Changing the scope later needs both sides' consent and may change the price or date.

What raises and what lowers the cost

We start from the scope you describe. These factors decide what your project comes to, and you can settle some of them before the quote.

Raises the cost: Each unique view has to be designed, built and tested on phones and desktops.
Number of screens and pages
Lowers the cost: A smaller scope to start, the rest in later stages.
Raises the cost: Payments, KSeF, marketplaces and other systems' APIs are separate work with tests and error handling.
Integrations
Lowers the cost: Ready add-ons where they are enough.
Raises the cost: A system for several departments with different access is a very different project from a panel for one person.
Roles and permissions
Lowers the cost: A panel for one person, with more roles in later stages.
Raises the cost: A design from scratch we do with our partner, Aphrodi, as UI/UX design.
Content and design
Lowers the cost: A finished design and ready copy. We build that design instead of designing again.
Raises the cost: Each language version means translation, addresses and SEO settings for every page.
Languages
Lowers the cost: One language to start, more in a later stage.
Raises the cost: A scope that changes along the way needs both sides' consent and may change the price or the date (cl. 3.3 of our terms).
Scope
Lowers the cost: A scope written down before the start and kept until acceptance.
Raises the cost: A very short deadline changes how we work and may change the price. We say so in the quote.
Deadline
Lowers the cost: The date given in the quote does not change the price.

A quote to accept

Every quote of ours has a figure for the scope, a list of what it covers and what it does not, stages with dates and payment stages. If anything is missing, ask: that is our mistake.

A quote for a company website with a blog in the client panel: payment stages, the validity, the items and the team's notes
  1. Validity

You decide by this date. Once accepted, the figure holds for the written scope, and changing it needs your consent and a new quote.

  2. Scope items

Each part of the scope is its own item with a quantity and the figure for your project. What the quote does not cover is stated plainly.

  3. Payment in parts

Most often three equal parts: before we start, after a stage is accepted and after final acceptance. The split goes into the order, and our payments page describes it.

Costs after launch

Some costs appear only after launch. We talk about them before the start.

Billed separately

After launch or outside the scope

  • Hosting with monitoring
  • Domain and SSL certificate when we host
  • Maintenance and development after the warranty
  • Paid third-party services
  • A change of scope along the way

We talk about them before the start, and hosting and maintenance are quoted individually.

In the project price

The work up to acceptance and the warranty

  • The scope written into the quote
  • A test version during the work
  • Release and documentation
  • A warranty per the order

The quoted figure holds for the scope we wrote into it.

During the work

Billed separately: A change of scope: only with your consent, and it may change the price or the date (cl. 3.3 of our terms).

In the project price: A test version from the first day of work and a short summary every week of where things stand.

Launch

Billed separately: Hosting with monitoring. When we host, the server, domain, SSL certificate and monitoring are on our side, and the cost depends on the project's scale.

In the project price: Release and documentation: how to set the project up from scratch, its architecture and how it is deployed.

After acceptance

Billed separately: Maintenance and development after the warranty: quoted individually, under a separate agreement (cl. 7.3 of our terms).

In the project price: Warranty: we fix the bugs that come from our work (cl. 7.2 of our terms) for the period written into the order.

Third-party services

Billed separately: Fees for AI models, a payment gateway and similar services, at the provider's prices.

In the project price: Connecting such a service, when it is in the quoted scope.
