Careers at VulCode: social media, PR, Discord, sales, client relations and developers
We are growing on the marketing and people side, because the code already has someone to write it. Below are the roles we are looking for now and what an application looks like.
Open roles
Each role has its own page with the tasks, expectations and an example application.
Social media
We are looking for someone to show VulCode the way people watch social media today: short, casual and funny. The content does not have to be serious, it has to be watched.
- YouTube: Shorts
- TikTok: videos
- Instagram: Reels
How work at VulCode looks
A few things that are true in every role, before you get to the details.
Remote, no office
We have no office, so every role at VulCode is remote, and client meetings happen online or at the client's place. We speak Polish and English, depending on the channel and the audience.
Decisions without go-betweens
Anything that needs a decision you settle directly with us, with no HR department and no go-betweens. You discuss ideas and finished work with someone who does the very thing you will talk about.
Scope and start, agreed together
In a short online call we agree how much time you have, which tasks you start with and from when. In the same call we choose the form of payment and the hours, together with the scope.
Checked before it goes out
You agree the topic of a video or a post with us before it is published, and in code every change is reviewed before it goes into a project. Code has to be possible to take over without calling its author.
The material is already there
Client projects, our own products such as Flaem, Plazer and Gyred, open source contributions and the tech news we publish on the site. It all exists already, and this is what you work on.
Channels and tools
What you use depends on the role: YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and X, the VulCode Discord server, email and online calls, and for code repositories, servers and code review.
