How to use it in three steps

The tool as a schematic with this page's example. Each step's number stands where you take it: in the fields, at the result or outside the tool.

Potion builder
What you enter
Speed II for 3 minutes and Jump Boost I for 3 minutes
  1. Pick the effects, their level and duration.

  2. Choose a form: potion, splash, lingering or arrow.

What you get
/give @p minecraft:potion[potion_contents={custom_effects:[{id:"minecraft:speed",amplifier:1,duration:3600},{id:"minecraft:jump_boost",amplifier:0,duration:3600}]}] 1 /effect give @p minecraft:speed 180 1 false /effect give @p minecraft:jump_boost 180 0 false
  1. Copy the /give or /effect command.

A potion with two effects and the same effects by command

The example levels and durations converted into game units, which make the potion for /give and two /effect commands. The result is computed by the same function the tool at the top of the page uses, every time the page is shown.

You pick

Speed
level II, 180 s
Jump Boost
level I, 180 s

Game units

Speed
amplifier 1, duration 3600
Jump Boost
amplifier 0, duration 3600
What the tool does

The level is counted from zero, so II is 1. Time is counted in ticks: 20 ticks is a second.

The bottle colour

Colour
#76f2d6
What the tool does

Without a custom colour the tool mixes the effects' colours, each weighted by its level.

Commands
