How to use it in three steps
The tool as a schematic with this page's example. Each step's number stands where you take it: in the fields, at the result or outside the tool.
Add a burst: shape, colours and fade colours.
Turn on twinkle or trail and set the flight duration.
Copy the /give or /summon command.
A rocket with a twinkling red and yellow ball
The example dyes turned into the numbers the game builds the burst from, and the whole /give command. The result is computed by the same function the tool at the top of the page uses, every time the page is shown.
You set
- Shape
- Large ball
- Colours
- Red, Yellow
- Effect and flight
- twinkle, flight 2
Dyes as numbers
- Red
- 11743532 (#b3312c)
- Yellow
- 14602026 (#decf2a)
A firework stores a dye colour as an RGB number, different from the same dye's colour on a banner.
The burst
- explosion
- {shape:"large_ball",colors:[I;11743532,14602026],has_twinkle:true}
The shape, colours and effects make one burst. The colour list has the I prefix because they are integers.
The rocket
- fireworks
- {flight_duration:2,explosions:[{shape:"large_ball",colors:[I;11743532,14602026],has_twinkle:true}]}
The flight duration and the list of bursts go into the fireworks component.
Command
- To craft it: a fire charge, glowstone dust
/give @p minecraft:firework_rocket[fireworks={flight_duration:2,explosions:[{shape:"large_ball",colors:[I;11743532,14602026],has_twinkle:true}]}] 1Questions
