Atrium

A hotel's front desk keeps the panel open for the whole shift, next to email, the phone and the card terminal. Atrium on a computer is the same hotel panel in its own steady window, laid out for the big front desk screen, that never gets lost among browser tabs and never closes with them.

Bookings line up on a timeline room by room and floor by floor, with today marked. The free room search takes the arrival and departure dates and the number of guests, and a new booking goes through a conflict check and gets its price from the room type's seasonal rate. The view switches between the timeline and a list.

The floor map shows every room with its live status. The front desk sees the whole property on one screen and knows right away which room with an arrival today is still waiting to be cleaned.

Housekeeping assigns rooms to housekeepers, with today's arrivals first. Repairs carry their cost, and renovations block bookings for their dates, so nobody sells a room that is being painted.

The window on the front desk computer, the browser in the owner's office and the housekeeper's phone all work on the same data. A room status changed on a floor shows up on the front desk's floor map the same moment, and every action stays in the hotel's activity log.
