WooCommerce, Shoper, Shopify, IdoSell and PrestaShop integrations
The store is only one of a company's systems. We connect it with ERP, wholesalers, Allegro, couriers and KSeF through the platform API, and where ready add-ons fall short, we write a custom plugin, module or app.
The platforms we work with
Each has its own page with its ways into the API, integration screens and pitfalls.
Platforms from the integration side
The differences that decide rollout time and what can break. "Per arrangement" marks a detail we settle for your store before quoting.
| From the integration side | SaaS platforms | A store on your server | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shoper | Shopify | IdoSell | WooCommerce | PrestaShop | |
| How the integration gets access | a separate user or an app | the store's own app | a panel key or an app | a key from the store panel | a panel key, in version 9 an app too |
| Signed notifications from the store | per arrangement | yes | secured with a key of their own | yes | via a custom module |
| When the integration does not answer | per arrangement | 8 retries over 4 hours | retries for 24 h, disabled after 7 days | disabled after more than 5 failures in a row | depends on the module |
| Custom code in the store | an App Store app | a Shopify app | an IdoSell Apps app | a WordPress plugin | a module |
| Platform updates | done by Shoper | done by Shopify | done by IdoSell | done by you or us | done by you or us |

A SaaS platform or a self-hosted store
We integrate both kinds of store. The kind decides where the integration runs and who handles updates.
Shoper, Shopify, IdoSell
- The server and store updates are the platform's job.
- The platform API covers your needs.
- Custom code in the store runs as a platform app: from the Shoper App Store, a Shopify app or from IdoSell Apps.
WooCommerce, PrestaShop
- You can change the store itself, not just exchange data.
- You have full control over data and the server.
- Custom code is a WordPress plugin or a PrestaShop module, and updates are done by you or us.
You do not want to deal with store updates
Outweighs: Shoper, Shopify, IdoSell. The integration runs outside the store, on our server or yours, and talks to the API within its limits.
The process needs changes in the store itself
Outweighs: WooCommerce, PrestaShop. Part of the integration can be a plugin or module in the store. Then we keep it compatible with updates.
You may change platforms later
Even. An integration with a queue layer and a product map moves to a new platform more easily than a set of chained plugins.
The daily reconciliation of orders
A notification from the store can get lost or arrive twice, so once a day we compare orders and stock straight with the store.
When the integration does not answer
WooCommerce: disabled after more than 5 failures in a row; Shopify: 8 retries over 4 hours; IdoSell: retries for 24 h, disabled after 7 days.
A difference with its reason
Differences go to a log with the reason, not quietly away.
The source of truth for stock and prices
One system decides. When two do, stock drifts apart at the first sale.
