A preschool website with a parent area and group-only galleries
A website for parents choosing a preschool, and an area for those whose children already attend: photos visible only to parents in the group, menus, notices and absence reporting from a phone.
The parent area in three screens
Parents sign in with a code from a message, see only their group and handle daily matters without phoning.
Sign-in without a shared password
Every parent has their own account created by the preschool. The password taped to the classroom door is no longer needed.
Group gallery and menu
Photos from group events, without children whose parents did not agree to publishing their image. Today's menu next to it.
Absence from a phone
A parent reports an absence, the group teacher gets a notification and the kitchen gets the updated meal count.
Children's photos, consents and accessibility
The gallery is where a preschool website most often breaks someone's rights. These rules set how we build it. We write this as the website builder, not a law firm, so it is not legal advice.
An image needs permission
Publishing someone's image requires the permission of the person shown (art. 81(1) of the Polish Copyright Act). For a child, a parent gives it, and the panel will not publish a photo tagged with a child who has no consent.
art. 81(1) of the Polish Copyright ActConsent must be demonstrable
The controller must be able to demonstrate that the person consented (art. 7(1) GDPR). The panel records who agreed to what and when.
art. 7(1) GDPRWithdrawing as easy as giving
Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and withdrawing must be as easy as giving it (art. 7(3) GDPR). Parents change consent in the parent area with one switch.
art. 7(3) GDPRPublic preschools and accessibility
A preschool run by local government is a public finance sector unit, so Poland's digital accessibility act applies (art. 2(1)) along with the accessibility statement. Poland did not exclude preschools from the act.

What the preschool decides and what the system enforces
The head sets the rules. The website and panel apply them to every photo and every account.
- The preschool decides
Which photos are public and which are group-only
The system enforcesEvery gallery has a visibility setting, and by default only the group sees it.
- The preschool decides
The wording of the image consent
The system enforcesParents give and change consent in the parent area, and the history stays in the panel.
- The preschool decides
Who has a parent area account
The system enforcesThe account expires when the child leaves, with no manual list cleanup.
- The preschool decides
The cut-off time for reporting absences
The system enforcesLate reports are flagged, and the kitchen gets the meal count on time.
